By the resolution of the Discipline Council for Technical Computer Science and Telecommunications at Silesian University of Technology, Dr Eng. Tomasz Krzeszowski, Prof. RUT was awarded the habilitation degree (Doctor Habilitatus) in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of technical computer science and telecommunications, based on a scientific achievement consisting of a thematic series of publications entitled “Development and Applications of Swarm Intelligence Algorithms”.
Dr Eng. Tomasz Krzeszowski graduated in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Rzeszów University of Technology in 2009. He obtained his PhD in technical sciences with distinction in 2013 at the Faculty of Automation, Electronics, and Computer Science at Silesian University of Technology. He currently holds the position of University Professor in the Department of Computer and Control Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Rzeszów University of Technology.
The main area of his scientific activity focuses on topics related to computer vision, motion tracking, artificial intelligence, and particle swarm optimization algorithms.
