The Laboratory of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Humanoid Robots was established within the Department of Computer and Control Engineering (room D109) by decision of the Rector of Rzeszów University of Technology on 1 December 2025, with the aim of conducting interdisciplinary research focused on developing technical and systemic solutions that enable the effective adoption of artificial intelligence technologies and humanoid robots in industry and society.
The Laboratory’s equipment, i.e. the new “CaCE staff member” - the Unitree G1 U6 humanoid robot Alf 1 - as well as a GPU-accelerated computing server, was purchased with the support of targeted grants for universities funded by the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
